we are surrounded by some amazing countryside and local attractions with something for everyone of all ages.

• The Antique Village – An Antiques Destination  – The Antique Village is a total antiques, vintage, retro and salvage destination.
• Killerton House – A family home and a great estate. Glorious landscape garden surrounded by parkland with fine 18th-century house
• Devon Cookery School – just a few minutes drive from us. They offer a range of classes and events.
• The Bear Trail – The Bear Trail is suitable for all ages and abilities, make sure you wear old clothes and bring a towel!  Once you’ve tackled the assault course, relax in the Bear Cave Cafe serving delicious wood-fired pizzas, paninis, drinks, treats and more. Or bring your own picnic and enjoy our outdoor picnic areas.
• Otter Nurseries garden centre  – near Ottery St Mary is always popular with our guests, as is The Old Well near Uffculme. With extensive plants and a great cafe, it’s a lovely place to spend a few hours.
• Wild Wood Escot – is a lovely place to go for the day, especially if you have children. Just 15 minutes drive, the woodlands are home to wild boar, wolves and lynxes as well as other animals.
  Go along to their otter feedings and red squirrel talks and finish the day with a cake in their tea room. For rainy days there is an indoor play barn where the kids can let off steam!
• The Old Well – near Uffculme , a lovely family run garden centre , coffee shop and restuarant.
• Yarak Birds of Prey Centre – where you can handle owls and falcons. It is 10 minutes drive from the B&B. Booking is required for this attraction.
